It is required that movie folders and files have the year in their name to be imported and parsed. Any other uses that are not adding a movie to Radarr and importing the movie and its file from the root (library) folder that was input to Library Import.Adding or Importing one or more files that are not properly named and organized in their own Movie Folder within your root folder or a folder you wish to add as a root folder.Library import is for adding and importing an existing organized library of movies into Radarr.This is especially useful when making a new Radarr instance and wanting to keep your existing movies. Library Import allows you to import existing organized movies and each movie's file via existing files in the path directory. Interactive Import - Review all files within the path and attempt to match to a Movie in Radarr allowing the user to review the results.Move Automatically - Automatically attempt to match a file to a Movie in Radarr and import by moving it.Manual Import (Movie Index) - Manually import a movie file for a movie you have added to Radarr from any folder that Radarr can access.Search All / Search Filtered / Search Selected - Search all movies or selected movies in the current view.RSS Sync - Refresh the RSS feed from your Indexers and see if anything new has been posted to be grabbed.Refresh & Scan - Refresh the currently viewed movie's metadata and rescan its folder.Update All - Update metadata for all movies, refresh posters, rescan movie folders, and rescan movie files (if enabled).Try to restore a previous version of the original library from a Time Machine or other backup. If the new library and project work as expected, you've isolated the cause of your issue to the original library or project. Try to recreate the issue you were having. For example, if iMovie quit when adding a transition, try to add a transition to the timeline.Select the clip in the browser, then press the E key to add the clip to the timeline.Select the "Finish Line.mov" file in the list, then click the Import Selected button. Choose File > Import Media, then click Desktop in the Import window sidebar.Click projects to return to the Projects view.Next, import the QuickTime video file into a new project in the new library: Choose File > Share > File, click Next, name the file "Finish Line", then save the video file to the Desktop.Choose File > New Trailer, click the Action trailer template, then click Create.In iMovie, click Projects to return to the Projects view.Next, create the test project using a built-in trailer template, then export it as a QuickTime video file: Name the test library "Test iMovie Library", then save it to the Movies folder in your home folder.In the Open Library window, click New to create a new library.While you're pressing and holding the Option key, click the iMovie app in the Dock or double-click the iMovie app in the Applications folder.You can create a new library and test project to check if the issue is with your library, project or iMovie app.
